Why do you need historical keyword ranking data?

  • Assess the effectiveness of your SEO strategies over time by monitoring increases or decreases in keyword rankings.

  • If certain keywords have lost positions, you can investigate and make adjustments to improve their performance.

  • Measure the impact of changes you've made to your website, such as updating meta tags or content.

To view historical rankings of your website, follow these simple steps:

  1. Go to the project you set up earlier. Find the specific page you want to check website ranking history. The Keywords column shows the number of keywords each page ranks for.

  1. To see rankings keywords, click on the number in the Keywords column.

This dashboard shows how keyword positions have changed over the past month. To view more recent data and see position improvements or declines, scroll to the right.

You can view positions not only for a specific page but also for the entire website. To do this, navigate to the Keywords tab.

To filter keywords by position, use the Position filter, specify your desired range, and click Submit. For this example, we will select positions ranging from 2 to 10.

As a result, we see a list of keywords with positions between 2 and 10.

That's how you can see the ranking history of a given keyword in JaySearch.
