# Discovering New Content Ideas

You may have already covered many key topics and now find it challenging to come up with fresh ideas. Or perhaps you're just starting to create new content.

Either way, JaySearch can help.

But before diving in, let’s define the purpose of your blog or website and focus on topics that resonate with your target audience. Ask yourself:

* What topics are most discussed in your industry?
* What are the latest trending topics?
* What problems do people suffer from in your industry?
* How do users search for a product like yours?

Now that you've had a chance to think about these questions, let's move forward.

1. Open your project in JaySearch.

2. First, we need to find keywords that are ranking low in SERPs. To do this, we’ll filter positions from 5 to 50. Next, we’ll filter out keywords that have at least 10 impressions but 0 or 1 click. To make sure we're only looking at keywords that people search, let’s set the search volume to more than 10.

3. Apply all filters and go to the **Keywords tab**.

In our case, we can see that the website ranks for 1,165 keywords, and we can surely use some of them as new content ideas.

4. You can search for new article topics by all the keywords it ranks for, or you can see the ranking keywords for a specific page. In the first case, go to the Keywords tab and start searching. In the second case, copy the page URL and paste it into the page filter.

5. After applying the filter, we can see that the page we've chosen ranks for 20 keywords.

Among these keywords, there are phrases with impressions but no clicks. One of them is “class performance ideas”. This phrase is similar to the main page topic, "elementary school talent show ideas”, and the page ranks for it, but adding it to the existing content won't improve the ranking because the query has limited intent. To address this, we need to create a new article on this topic, so we'll select it.

We also see the query “kid talent show ideas,” which is similar to “elementary school talent show ideas”, but it’s broader and relates to all children. Let's add this one too.

As you can see, we’ve created a user-friendly environment that makes it easy for you to discover fresh content ideas.

6. Once you find new topics, set these keywords for regular monitoring. After publishing the new page, [track how its rankings change over time compared to its initial performance](/use-cases/set-up-keyword-tracking.md#creating-rank-tracking-reports-in-jaysearch).
