In JaySearch, you can discover hidden keywords that are easy to rank for and have great SEO potential to drive more traffic to your website. These keywords typically have a low click-through rate (CTR)—meaning they receive many impressions but few clicks—and rank between positions 5 and 20. We’ll refer to these as Untapped Keywords.

OK, let's dive in and find these keywords to optimize your website.

  1. To begin, navigate to the SEO Insights section. Here you’ll see three subfeatures such as Untapped Keywords, Long-Tail Keywords and On-Page SEO Insights. Click on the Untapped Keywords card.

  1. In the Keyword rankmap section under the Pages tab, you'll find hidden keywords with significant SEO potential, sorted by page. If you prefer a comprehensive list for the entire site, head over to the Keywords tab.

  1. As mentioned earlier, keywords with low CTR that already rank between positions 5 and 20 are particularly valuable.

Once you’ve discovered these untapped keywords, consider how you can take advantage of them.

This may involve creating new content that targets these keywords, adjusting the title tags or meta descriptions of existing content, or ensuring that your content fully addresses the searcher's intent.

  1. We recommend setting these keywords for ongoing monitoring. Track their performance after changing title tags, meta descriptions, or creating new content. Look for changes in CTR, rankings, impressions, and clicks.

What's great about JaySearch is that by looking at historical rankings, you can measure the impact of the changes you've made.
